Ingredients:
Sesame oil - 1 Tablespoon
Oil - 1 Tablespoon
Ground beef - 1 Pound
Garlic - 2 Clove (10 gm) , mince
Onion - 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) , chop
Carrots - 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) , mince
Green onions - 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) , chop
Green cabbage - 1 Cup (16 tbs) , chopped finely
Ground black pepper - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 1 Teaspoon
Garlic powder - 1 Teaspoon
Soy sauce - 1 Teaspoon
Butter lettuce - 1
Directions
1. Chop the onion, cabbage and green onions, mince the garlic and carrots. Keep everything aside.
2. In a wok or a frying pan cook the ground beef along with sesame oil, over medium high heat.
3. Once the beef is cooked, transfer the beef on a separate bowl.
4. In the same wok add one tablespoon of oil and sauté the garlic and onion, until onion is translucent.
5. Add the cabbage, green onion, carrots, garlic, salt and pepper, soya sauce, garlic powder, cook everything for 3-5 minutes. Then add the beef and combine and heat everything, turn off the heat once done.
6. Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves, keep it aside.
7. Place the lettuce leaves on a serving plate and add 2-3 tablespoon of beef filling in the lettuce leaves.
8. Serve the Beef Lettuce Wraps along with thai sweet chili sauce.
